Very very very Irish

First at the table and the last one to quit it, I thoroughly enjoyed the hearty Irish comfort food served in such plenty for lunch on Friday. I myself cooked the Glazed Breast of Bacon and have never had bacon this way before.

One member of staff stressed that having bacon this way - cooked until tender, rind removed, smothered in an obscene amount of demerara sugar softened with pineapple juice and then basted in the oven - is very very Irish. Definitely moreish as well.
